If you are working on a Word file (Extension - .docx or .doc) on platform MS-WORD/WPS Office/Open Office/Libre Office.

You can align the text as left, right or center in the following steps.

Step 1. Select the text you wish to align by dragging the mouse pointer(with left mouse key pressed) over the text.

Step 2. In the menu bar, click on the home tab and you will find a paragraph group in the tab.

Step 3. At last, you need to chose Left align/Right align/Center align, as per your choice from respective icons of the aligns from paragraph group in the same(Home) tab.
