There are two ways to find an irrational number between two fractions.

decimal nos - the non terminating and non re- occurring decimal numbers are called irrational nos

for example: 2 irrational numbers between 7/3 and 8/5

7/3 = 2.3(approx)

8/5 =1.6

and

2.1508723946...............

using roots for example: 2 irrational numbers between 7/3 and 8/5

7/3 = 2.3(approx)=√5.29

8/5 =1.6=√2.56

.°. , nos are √5.22 and √2.62
