how can we balance a chemical equation

Lucky9112: The chemical equation needs to be balanced so that it follows the law of conservation of mass. A balanced chemical equation occurs when the number of the different atoms of elements in the reactants side is equal to that of the products side. Balancing chemical equations is a process of trial and error.

we can balance a chemical equation by making it equal on both the sides (i.e. the left hand side as well as the right side).
ex- 2H²O=2HO
2H²O=4H+2O

it is based on the law of conservation of mass which said that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in chemical reaction
