Answer:
There are 366 days in a Leap year and 365 days in an ordinary year.
when 365 is divided by 7 it gives remainder 1 and when 366 is divided by 7 it gives remainder 2.
What does remainder mean here?
It means the extra day from the previous year. i.e. if Jan 2, 2001 was Monday then Jan 2, 2002 will be Tuesday because 1 non leap year (365 days) has 1 extra day.
Calculate Extra day by dividing number by 7 and take the remainder.
If you can find the extra days in year, months then you can easily find the day from the given date.
