Answer: For each degree advance towards the east there is a addition of 4 minutes to the clock of that place and for each degree advance towards the west there is a substraction of 4 minutes ti the clock of that place.

Explanation: Suppose it is 12 noon at greenwich which is on the prime meredian that is at 0 degree so the time at 1 degree east will be 12.04 pm since 1 degree advance in the east is equal to 4 minute addition and the time at 1 degree west is 11.56 am since 1 degree advance in the west is equal to 4 minutes deduction.
