Answering assuming it is written solid instead of soli.

Explanation:

There are 2ways:

1)chemical method.

2)physical method.

1)chemical method: Reaction of impure solid with any chemical substance whoes product is known and if additional product is found in analysis of product it is impure.

2)physical method: there are many physical method depending upon solid (ie. its nature : volatile or non-volatile etc.) but the most comman is observation with respect to pure sample.

Now if solid is Volatile and impurity is non-volatile just let a small piece of impure sample get evaporated if residue left behind it was impure if not the it was pure.
