How can we conserve energy resources in India?Explain

Energy is required for all activities. It is needed  to cook, to provide light and heat, to propel  vehicles and to drive machinery in industries.

Energy resources such as coal and petroleum  need to be conserved because :

(i) They take millions of years to form.

(ii) The rate of their consumption is higher than the  rate of their production.

(iii) They contribute in air pollution.

(iv) We need to save them for our future generation

1} switch off the lights and fans when not in use.

2} use public transport as much as possible.

3} use less water as much as possible.

4} install solar panel, for electricity.

5} take the advantage of the sunlight whenever possible
