Our Earth is covered with 71% of water resources. And in that only 3% of water are freshwater resources. Also ²/₃ of 3% of freshwater resources are situated in glaciers.

Therefore, only 1% of water are freshwater resources and these can be used by human beings for drinking and for other domestic purposes.
