how can we consume fossil fuels


VedaantArya: Burn them - the heat produced can be used to convert water to steam, which can be used to power a turbine which generates electricity.
Or, the heat could be used on a working substance in an engine to generate mechanical work.

But yeah, we'll always burn 'em.
