When ovary becomes mature,it starts producing ovum . When the egg cell encounters a sprem , it forms zygote but if the egg cell doesnt encounter a zygote, the sloughing of endometrium takes place . With that blood cappilaries are damaged which are below endometrium and the blood along with egg cell is ejected out. THIS cycle repeats after every 28 - 30 days .
This Is Called Menstrual Cycle.

the process of ovulation and mensuration in women is called menstrual cycle.

the menstrual cycle is a period of about 28 to 30 days during which an egg cell matures ,the mature egg cell is released by the ovary ,thickening of uterus lining takes place and finally the uterus lining breaks down causing bleeding in women.
