I will help you with an Experiment
Take a measuring cylinder and fill it with water at some measure 60 (v1)
now take a irregular solid better to take a stone tie it with thread .
now put the stone in measuring cylinder you will observe that volume of the water in measuring cylinder increases to 80(v2)
now v2_v1 =the volume of irregular solid
80-60=20 is the volume of irregular solid

We can find the volume of irregular objects by immersing them into a water container partly filled with water,enough to completely submerge the object
Now measure the water level before immersing the object. Measure after the object is submerged into it .
We will get that -
Volume of object = volume of water after immersing-volume of water before immersing
Vx = V2-V1
