how can we differentiate arteries and veins on the basis of their functions​

Arteries carry blood from the heart to the rest of the body, whereas veins carry blood from the rest of the body back to the heart. Almost all arteries carry oxygenated blood and almost all veins carry deoxygenated blood.

●Arteries carries pure blood while veins carries impure blood

●Walls of arteries are thick while walls of veins are thin

●Arteries have no valves while veins have valves
