how can we differentiate b/w acute and chronic diseases.

1.Aute diseases infect the body for a short period of time but chronic diseases affect the body for a long period of time.

2. Acute diseases are usually caused by extrinsic factors but chronic are mostly caused by intrinsic factor like hormonal flow etc.
