How will you distinguish between a convex and a concave lens without touching them? We will keep the lens close to some page of a book and see the print of the book through it. If the letters of the book appear enlarged, it is a convex lens and if they appear diminished, it is concave lens..
I hope this is useful for you

rajujnraju8: It's wrong answer
rajujnraju8: It's vice versa
rajujnraju8: Sorry to say that but you are not clear with the concept
rajujnraju8: And if you are not sure about the answer then don't answer it unnecessary and don't confuse the person who has questioned

HERE IS AN ACTIVITY THROUGH WHICH WE CAN DIFFERENTIATE CONVEX AND CONCAVE LENS WITHOUT TOUCHING THEM.

------------------------------------------------------

We will place the lens close to some page of a book and see the print of the book through it. If the letters of the book appear enlarged, it is a convex lens and if they appear diminished, it is concave lens.

rajujnraju8: It's also wrong
rajujnraju8: The correct answer is if we see through a mirror and they appear to be enlarge then we can say that it is concave mirror and if it is diminished then it is convex mirror
