you can identify the plane Mirror by seeing it because the shape of plane mirror is plane and the objects are appear in the same distance and change same size and in the concave mirror it is a curved mirror you can see you can differentiate it by saying it like you take a ball and cut into two halves the inner part of boy you can conclude that the inner part of the ball is the concave mirror and Outer part of the ball is convex mirror in the convex Mirrors

yuvraj123128: in concave mirror you can define it if it is used in magnifying glass like when you put magnifying glass in the sun in front of the sun you see that the light of sun is focused on a single phase to you can say conclude that that mirror is a concave and convex mirror it's the life and light so it is used in different fields

We can differentiate between a convex and concave lens by seeing the image.

  • On keeping the lens near a printed page, if letters appear magnified, the lens is convex and if the letters appear diminished, the lens is concave.
  • On seeing a distant object through the lens, if its inverted image is seen, the lens is convex and if an upright image is seen, the lens is concave.
