hai guys ,

the standard form of an exponent is how people see numbers normally. for example, five to the sixth power is in exponent form , and the standard form of this exponent is 15,625. exponents also came is an expanded form.

standard form is a way of writing down very large or very small numbers easily.

103 ^{3}  = 1000

so

  4  \times  10 ^{3} = 4000

So 4000 can be written as

4 \times 10 ^{3}

The rules when writing a number is standard form is that first you write down a number between 1 and 10 , then

you write 1×10 (to the power of a number ).
