How can we express sin in terms of tan?

tan= sin/cos
therefore..sin=tan•cos

 \tan( \alpha )  =  \frac{ \sin( \alpha ) }{ \cos( \alpha ) }  \\ or \:  \tan( \alpha )  =  \frac{ \sin( \alpha ) }{ \sqrt{1 -  {sin}^{2} \alpha  } }  \\
