How can we find no of structural isomers of the compound..pls explain
For example :for hexane 5 isomers are there
Pls post it as an attachment so that it will be easy to understand

just by trying........ if the no. of hydrogen is equal to that formula then remains it it is an isomer of that compound .and if it dosnt.then try it again by another structure....

structural isomer =different chain+ same suffix i.e. ane,ene ,yne .
