we can find north and south direction in our place by using a compass.
u can make a compass at ur home only...
just take a cork
a magnetised needle
and a bowl full of water
put the needle inside of the cork and left it in the water try to rotate it and every moment it will show the same direction i.e. North and just opposite to that direction is the south
