Answer:

Humans and other animals need to breathe for respiration to take place. This happens when animals move air into and out of their lungs, or by flapping their gills if living in water. When animals breathe in, they take in oxygen and when they breathe out, carbon dioxide is removed from the body.

Humans get the oxygen they need by breathing through their nose and mouth into their lungs. Oxygen gives our cells the ability to break down food in order to get the energy we need to survive. when the organisms take air in ,the ribs or diaphragm move upwards and when we breathe out the ribs move downwards. By this , we can see movement of respiration . whereas in fishes ,they flaps there gills to respire. In birds breathe through the mouth or the nostrils (nares). Air entering these openings (during inspiration) passes through the pharynx & then into the trachea (or windpipe). The trachea is generally as long as the neck. By this we can find that all living beings breathes.
