Answer: here we go

Concept used : engery released in neutralization

Take Hcl 1m and mix it with another base MoH (strength unkown) which is olso 1m . now if our base is strong then energy released will be exactly equal to 57kilojoules.

If our base is weak then energry released will be less than 57kj .

What is this 57kj?

this is enegry released when one equivalent of strong acid reacts with one equivalent of strong base

Or 1H + reacts with 1OH- to give water

Why is less energy released in case of weak base ?

Bcz some amount of energy is consumed in breaking mOH into m+ and OH-
