Increase your learning power...attend more and more classes. Spend a good amount of time in learning that particular language.

But if you want to learn kana, I can suggest you one app named" Kanji Study".

I am not sponsoring it, but I used it when I used to learn Japanese. It helped me to learn. You can use audio, text , handwriting skills and even attend self test (in that app) to learn them. But even if you spent 1 hour of 1 day everyday, it will still take 1 week to know it well without getting forget.
