By representing its physical states
Its balancing proper molecules on either sides
Precipitate,gas,solids,aqueous representation
Exothermic,endothermic reaction representation

A chemical equation can become more informative after telling in which state it is or its physical states like. Aqueous solution is denoted by "aq.", solid by "s", liquid by " l "and gas by "g."..... For eg.---->. 2Na(s) + 2H2O (l) → 2NaOH (aq) + H2 (g).
