how can we make a periscope

Materials used:

1.       Cardboard box

2.       Two small plane mirrors

3.       Black paper or plastic

4.       Rubber band

5.       Scissors

6.       Razor and  tape

Procedure: 

Cut slits at 45 degree angle in both sides of a card-board box. Push a small mirror through each of slits from side to side. The reflecting side of one mirror must face the reflecting   side to other. Cut peepholes opposite the reflecting sides of the mirrors. Cover the end of the box with black plastic  paper with rubber bands and tape. Now you can see from the bottom of the periscope . 

Now periscope is ready.

Explanation:

Place a curved elbow joint pipe over each end of the pipe to make a periscope shape. Have the two openings point in opposite directions if you want to look around corners or over obstacles. Find two mirrors that fit the pipe. These mirrors must be small enough to insert each one into one end of the pipe.
