Fill a jar or beaker with 5 ml concentrated sulfuric acid and 30 ml of water. ...Set two copper wires into the solution so that they are not touching each other.Connect the wires to a 6-volt battery. The solution will turn blue as copper sulfate is produced.

Balreet: after how much time solution will be ready
RishabhRDX: you will be able to see the blue color of the solution
Jatin0001: yes

1)Fill a jar half with acidified water. This will be your electrolyte.

Place two copper wires into the jar and connect the wires to power supply( two-three cells or a 9V battery).

Electrolysis will take place and copper ions from the wire will be discharged into the solution and hence due to the presence of Cu^2+ and SO4^2- ions will form CuSO4 in the jar.

2)Another method of preparing CuSO4 is,

Take MgSO4 solution and any copper salt solution [Cu(NO3)2,CuCl2] in a beaker. Double displacement reaction will take place and CUSO4 will be formed.
This method is meant for labs but you can easily get these chemicals from the market.

3) One more method,

Take copper oxide( or copper hydroxide) and add dilute sulphuric acid to it. This method cannot be performed at home as sulphuric acid cannot be bought from market without permission and schools will not allow us to take from lab.
