How can we make India a developed country? What types of efforts should be made by the citizens?

India is a rapidly developing country and we are already on our way to become a developed nation.However though India may have progressed on paper and on
screen but we don't we see the progress on the streets of India.
We still see people living in poverty. There are millions of people still surviving in India on an income of less than one dollar a day. India can never be considered a developed country unless and until the poverty, hunger and pain of the poor on the streets and those living in the slums is curbed.
In order to be considered a developed Country, India needs to focus on the common man.In India millions of people live below the poverty line & as long as there is poverty in a country it can’t become a developed country. So, Indian government as well as the citizens must take some serious steps to eradicate poverty from the country so as to make it a super power.
Illiteracy also acts as a hindrance in the development of a country as an illiterate person can’t contribute in any way in the progress of a country. So we should provide free & compulsory education to children as well as to uneducated adults.
Corruption is a major threat. Every year we come across a major scam but people forget as the year passes, reason being there are no judgements given for such, which allows people to perform such scams as they wish. So there should be immediate judgement and severe punishment for corruption, to dissuade people from getting into the world of corruption.
If every Indian takes up the responsibility to pay tax promptly and effectively, the money which is supposed to be utilized for India development will be utilized efficiently and India will not have to look forward to help from others.
There should be a minimum wage limit so that there will be no citizen in the country below poverty line.
In order to make India a developed country,we also need a transportation system which should be proper, neat and fair.
People should be taught civic sense.As we can see that there are spit marks, urine, vulgar graffiti, etc at every nook and corner of India.Roads are dirty not because nobody cleaned it, but because somebody dirtied it in the first place.Every individual should ensure the toilet is ready for others to use when you leave.Every Indian should be responsible enough,to not to dirty their own nation and should clean up their own mess.Most of the accidents are due to undisciplined traffic.So,people should obey traffic rules properly.
In sports,the selection of players are not done in a fair manner for most of the time which makes us lose multiple medals in international level games.So,corrective and fair decision should be made.
India should be in a state where a woman should be able to walk alone at will even during night times.Dowry and child marriage should be eradicated completely.
These were some ways using which we can make our country a super power someday.
