Draw a dot on the upper edge of the North Pole. Place the compass above it and see where the arrow points. Mark the end of the arrow and continue until you reach the South Pole.
Draw a dot an inch after the initial dot. Place the compass above it once again and continue drawing dots until you reach the South Pole.
Do it on all sides of the magnet. Trace all the dots to see the magnetic field
