So that leaves government. Governments are made up of people and subject to many limitations and inefficiencies. Governments are so imperfect that many citizens find any government involvement to be distasteful and these citizens would rather trust corporations. Hence, the philosophical problem.
Yes, I realize that there are other possible arrangements such as nonprofit entities and quasi-governmental entities but these have many of the same limitations.
