Aaryans were pastoral people who migrated from Central Asia. Note the Deva vs Asur, the Dahae of present day Turkmenistan etc. They were members of Indo Iranian language family and migrated during the final phase of the Harrapan civilization. They probably reached India as a result of intra tribal conflict and need for fresh pastures.
