Our nature as in human-nature, or universal nature concerning our living planet?

It is very hard for me to view mankind as part of nature. Consider an evasive plant species. While the plants may become dominant it is only because of a proper environment and the plants like to keep it that way.

Not humans! We do the opposite.

We invade, and we dominate. Then instantly WE turn against the environment that sustains us. I'd compare it to a parasitic nature but parasites destroy their host for a reason. We only have rhyme.

To save our nature we would need to change ours.

I will not be holding my breath.
