The amount of coal, natural gas etc. may decrease with time because of its excess use but the amount of sunlight or Solar energy will not get depleted. The conventional resources take million of years in renewing but the solar energy needs not to be renewed. Solar energy can be found anywhere, while on the other hand it is becoming hard to find conventional resources. So, using Solar energy will make it a good substitute for conventional resources and this will also prevent the depletion of such conventional resources.
