how can we say that a liquid given is pure water

 the liquid and if it boils at 100 degree celcius , then we can say that it is pure water . at last ,if the given liquid is water , then  we can see that the whole liquid will evaporate without leaving any residue behind.

To prove that a given liquid is water,
1.water turns dry blue cobalt paper pink
2.when water is passed through a solution of alkaline pyrogallol it turns brown.
3.it extinguishers a glowing wooden splinter.
4.when water is heated under high pressure and temperature,is dissociates into Hydrogen and oxygen gases.
5.It is neutral to litmus paper.
