How can we say that air exerts pressure? Explain experimentally.also name a few things that work ok due to air pressure.

As you blow into the funnel, the air moves faster and lowers the air pressure underneath the ball. Because the air pressure is higher above the ball than below it, the ball is pushed down into the funnel—no matter how hard you blow or which direction you point the funnel.

As water is poured over the can, some steam in the can condenses into water, reducing the amount of air inside. The pressure of air inside the can decreases than the pressure exerted by the air from outside the can. As a result the can gets compressed. This activity again confirms that air exerts pressure.
