air has mass and air requires space so air is matter

according to the definition of matter covers area and having mass. when wind blows extremely it poses force acting on any object in its way thus it has force but for having force mass is necessary. F = ma
when we use air pump , we create a pressure with the help of handle by pressing it downward i.e. the air is present in hollow cylindrical pump.
