When an object is exactly the same as original after rotation is called as Rotational symmetry

Explanation:

When an object is rotate by any degree and we gets the same shape and size of the object as the original shape and size of the object at least once during its complete rotation (360°) is said that object have rotational symmetry with following degree.

It is to be noted here that at 360° object has it complete rotation not its symmetric figure, So we have to see its symmetric figure within 0°-360°.

Example:

Alphabets

T it does not have any rotational symmetry because it will not show any symmetric figure 0°-360°.

But X will show rotational symmetry at 180°
