We can say many reasons that animals are dependent on plants. Some resons are as follows :
- Green plants are autotrophic in nature ( prepare their own food) and animals are dependent on them as they are heterotrophic ( can't prepare their own food and depend upon others)
- Green plants produce Oxygen during the process of photosynthesis and intake carbon dioxide. The oxygen is used by the animals and humans too.
Like how, animals are dependent for their food, shelter, survival and so on...
