A chemical change is a process which involves many factors such as change in temperature, change in its chemical structure or sometimes sudden change in its state of matter.

Change in colour is also one of the factors. For example when we add some pieces of iron to the blue colored copper sulphate solution, the colour of the solution turns light green. The sudden change of the colour is due to the mixing of a metal of higher reactivity which results in displacement of the metals too.
