How can we say that earth is still active?

 Because there are many still active volcanoes and earthquake occurring and  it revolves around the sun in the same path with a great speed as it was before.

Earth is still active. We can say that because in recent days we see volcanic eruptions ( refer Indonesian volcanic eruption on June of 2016) and earthquakes( refer earthquakes in japan,california,nepal etc). These all occur due to the movement of plates we live upon. Hence we can say that earth is still active.
