How can we say that mrs. Pakletide s mission was not successful

Mrs packletide mission was not succesful beacuse she made plan to kill the tiger by herself .But she  was failed to kill because the tiger was old and tired so he died due to his own weakness not by bullet of Mrs packletide.

they was so old so when mrs.packletide shot the tiger then it died as the sound of bullet was so high
