We know that newton second law of motion F=ma means force acting of a body is directly proportional to mass of body. When we put on the value of constant is equal to a means acceleration of the body which produce force acting of the body. So it is called second law of motionn=real law of motion.

sir Isaac Newton given second law of motion called momentum it is described as the rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the force applied on it.

Now

momentum is denoted by symbol p

mass is denoted by symbol m

velocity is denoted by symbol v

acceleration is denoted by symbol a

force is denoted by symbol F

time is denoted by symbol t

so

=>p = mv and F = ma

According to Newton

p/t = mv/t

now taking change in momentum

del(p)/t = m*del(v)/t

del is called delta operator which means small change

del(p)/t = m *a

we know that rate of change of velocity is called acceleration

del(p)/t = m*a

it is also written as

m*del(v)/t = F

above equation read as the rate of change of momentum is directly proportional to force of the body

hence proved
