How can we say that plant has 2 types of movement that is independent of growth and dependant of growth?

See....Plants have two type of movements :

Tropic Movement : It is the directional movement. In tropic movement the direction and growth of plant is determined by the direction of stimulus.

Nastic Movement: It is a non- directional movement. In nastic movement the direction and growth of plant will not be determined by the direction of stimulus.
