Answer: In the poem, ' The Legend Of The Northland' , Saint Peter was roaming on the lands of the Northland. While He was roaming, he felt hungry since he didn't have breakfast. He went to a small cottage where a little woman was baking caked . He begged the woman for a cake. She then baked a cake smaller that what se used to eat for herself. When the cake was baked she thought that it was too big to be given away. Then she kept on reducing the dough size and make a wafer thin peice of cake. Then thought that it was also big to be given away. When she refused to give cake to Saint Peter, he got very angry and cursed her. He said that she didn't deserve to be in human form since she was greedy and selfish enough not to give a cake to a begger. She was transformed into a woodpecker and she flown into the woods through the chimney. Since then, she had been boring for food. So since she did not give any cake to Saint Peter, she was proved guilty and selfish.

The old lady was running a bakery. Saint Peter was a wise saint. He had travelled and preached a lot so he was tired and hungry. He had arrived at her door for some food. Still the lady made him wait for the cake for a long time. Every time she tried to bake too small cake but unfortunately the cake often seemed to her of a bigger size. The old lady did not want to share the cake of this size with the saint. At last, the saint grew angry and cursed her. So, it can be said that her greed had no limit.
