How can we say that weight is a vector quantity?

we can say that weight is a vector quantity because weight has only magnitude but not direction.

dikshaverma4you: In vector quantity , both magnitude and direction is there..... It is scalar quantity which has just magnitude and no direction . ... And weight is a scalar quantity not vector...

WEIGHT is a scale quantity not vector as it has just magnitude and no direction.... For eg. ===> A box weighs 42 Kg...... Here 42 is magnitude and no information is given regarding the direction , so it is a scalar quantity not vector.....
