How can we separate a mixture of powdered salt and sugar? Also name the process.

they are two powdered solids with almost same mass, texture and other physical properties...so they cannoy be separated....plz follow me so that I can answer more of ur doubts. ......

We can use a method called sieving. Put the salt and sugar mixture into a sieve and shake gently. The salt particles are smaller and will fall out through the holes but as sugar grains are larger, they will remain in the sieve.
