how can we separate a mixture of salt and ammonium chloride

heya...!

firstly,ammonium chloride can be separated by sublimation.Then dissolve the mixture of sand and salt in water and separate sand by using filtration and salt can be separated from water by evaporation.

Ammonium chloride is SUBLIMABLE in nature which means it can transform to vapour (gaseous) state before becoming in liquid state.

Therefore SUBLIMATION is the best technique.

The mixture must be heated with an inverted funnel blocked on top with cotton.
