We can separate the mixture of ammonium chloride and salt by method of sublimation.
We will take the mixture in a china dish and cover an inverted funnel over it.
Then place this china dish on a tripod stand and start heating it with bunsen burner.
The volatile ammonium chloride will sublimate and will be gathered over the cooler portion of the funnel and salt is left back in the china dish.
In this way you saperated a volatile substance (ammonium chloride) and a non volatile substance (salt) from a mixture.
