Mixture of two immiscible liquids is seperated using seperating funnel.

◆ Seperation of two immiscible liquids from mixture -

1. First pour liquid mixture in the seperating funnel and keep it still for some time.
2. Liquid with higher density will settle down and liquid with lower density will form its distinct layer above.
3. When stopcock is opened, heavier liquid is collected first in one beaker and then lighter liquid in another beaker.
