We separate a mixture of two miscible liquids by Distillation and fractional distillation.

Simple distillation for those liquids which have varied boiling points , difference is + 30°C.

While fractional distillation is for those liquids whose boiling point are between a difference of 0 - 30°C.

Hope it's helpful to u.

let us try to separate acetone and water from their mixture
take the mixture in a distillation flask with thermometer
arrange the apartus as shown in
hate the mixture slowly keeping a close watch at the thermometer
the acetone price condensers in the condenser and can be collected from the condenser outlet
water is left behind in the distillation flask
this method is called distillation it is used for separate the components of a mixture containing two miscible liquid that ball without the composition and have sufficient difference in their boiling point.
have a great day ☺️
