How can we separate the mixture of naphthalene and sodium chloride

When you heat the mixture of sodium chloride and naphthalene, naphthalene actually gets converted into vapours. This is because naphthalene is a sublimable substance as they get separated.

By heating the mixture as napthalene will vaporize out because it directly turns into vapours on heating and hence only sodium chloride will remain in the petri dish and hence they are separated
