Had air not been dissolved in water, the aquatic plants and animals wouldn't have survived.

To prove it

take water in a container and start heating it .

when it boils, the air bubbles will start popping on the surface. This is the proff.

Here's an activity to show that Air is dissolved in water :-

Aim: To show that Air is dissolved in water.

Materials: A burner, A small pan and a glass of water.

Process:

  • Take a pan and pour a glass of water to it .
  • Now boil it.

Observation: Before it gets boiled u will see some air bubbles in the inner surface of the pan.
